2008
 New Boat
Summer is almost here (the ice went out on the lake last weekend!) so I am a week late getting my boat on the water! I will forgive myself this year since the factory was not done building it yet. Here are some shots of the launch and maiden voyage of the 'HMS Par-Tay Bay-Bee' or something like that....

That's right, I too am getting better with age! Just a few pictures from the day, normally I don't allow cameras at such events... because as you know, what happens in Minocqua, stays in Minocqua!
Ice Fishing
The tempurature actually rose to about zero, the first time in a couple of weeks, so we decided to make the most of it by walking out on the lake to feed the fish and watch the sleds and cars cruise by. Ahhhh, winter in Wisconsin, nothing like it for sure.

Christmas 2007
We had it all this year. We were still tan from Hawaii, we had all that dreamed of “white” that is so popular this time of year. Presents, cookies, turkey, friends and family... the whole enchilada. And we even stopped the party long enough to snap some pictures!
Kauai Retreat
We had two more weeks of relaxation in lovely Kauai. Other then staring blankly at the waves, I did some reading, walked on Hanalei beach, drank some coffee, walked on the beach, ate some sushi and sashimi, walked on the beach... I think you get the idea.
Autumn in Minocqua
All the boats are out of the water... All the campers have gone home for the season. You see the occasional snowmobile trailer. Must be Autumn in Minocqua! Time to make sure that your furnace is in good working order...
Dinner at Grandmas House
Over the river and thru the woods, to grand mothers house we go. Just make sure that you did not have lunch, and there is to be no snacking in the afternoon. You better show up hungry, or you’ve got some ‘splaining to do!
Beef-a-rama 2007
It’s too cold to be boating, and the snow hasn’t started yet. Hey, I know... lets get a bunch of beef roasts, close off downtown, cook them all day using secret processes, maybe have a beer, and then have a beef parade right down highway 51. Sound like a plan? Good.
Chillin at the Homestead
Just taking in easy hanging around at home. There are always chores that need to be done. Taking care of business and watching the dogs sleep. What more could you really ask for?
Fritz Family Reunion 2007 edition
What can I say? Everybody, come to the north-woods and lets go crazy! They came from far and wide to descend upon Tim and Roxanne’s cottage and socialize. Everyone had a big time.
Frogs !
Each year I am always surprised by the frogs. For a long time, you can’t find one... then boom... there are hundreds of them everywhere all along our stream. So, I took some pictures...
Northwoods Retreat 2007
Well, the weather could not have been better for this years get together. We were able to spend lots of time on and in the water. And we even got to go to a midnight Harry Potter book release party. What could be better?
Anne's Birthday
Not older, better for sure. Rock star.
Anne’s birthday is always a good reason to have a good time, the fact that it is in the middle of July only adds to the fun.
Will and Ally Take a Boat Ride
If it is your birthday, and you love pirates, what’s better then going on a boat? Heck, I like cruising on a boat even when it’s not my birthday.
